Alcohol Awareness Month Tabling @ Ring Road (Outside Student Center)

April is Alcohol Awareness Month! During Alcohol Awareness Month, we’ll be exploring various topics revolving around alcohol use, dependence, recovery, and how to drink responsibly.

Join us on Ring Road, Wednesday April 12th, 19th, and the 26th from 1:00-3:00pm, for some competitive and fun activities, such as cornhole and giant Jenga. Each week we’ll also have a different Alcohol Awareness activity where you can come test your knowledge about alcohol use. We’ll cap it all off with our grand finale on the 26th with free (limited) mocktails!

Almond, soy, oat, oh my! There is a variety of new milk alternatives on the market. Learn how these non-dairy, plant-based alternatives to milk stack-up nutritionally.

Quick Bites is a brief, virtual lunch and learn series on Zoom with our RDN, Jody Margolis, who will cover various nutrition hot topics. You’ll have the opportunity to ask the expert and expand your nutritional knowledge.

Mindful Mondays @ Meet Outside Zot N' Go

Join us every Monday for Mindful Mondays!

Every Monday will be a different mindfulness practice such as meditation, mindful movement, loving-kindness meditation, and many more. Mindfulness has been scientifically proven to help us cope with life’s stressors. Some of the benefits include anxiety reduction, enhanced sleep, improved mood, and increased ability to focus.

No previous experience necessary and great for beginners. Participants will receive an essential oil roller to carry their mindfulness practice with them wherever they are.

Body Talk – Love Your Tree @ G319 Student Center (Student Wellness & Health Promotion)

Love Your Tree is a national arts-based program focused on cultivating self-compassion, body acceptance and positive mental well-being through creativity, community connection and self-reflection.

Join our Peer Health Educators as they guide you through creative activities that will help plant a seed of improved self-image! We’ll be giving out free body image focused buttons, as well as providing a light boxed dinner (while supplies last).
