The Behind Happy Faces Mental Health Curriculum helps students understand the difference between mental health and mental illness, understand the many ways our mental health can be challenged, how to identify and enhance effective coping strategies, and how to help someone who may be struggling with their mental health.

As students return to campus for the Fall 2022 quarter, the UCI Public Health Student Volunteer Core will be hosting a pop-up booth around student wellness and sexual health to provide health information and resources, answer student’s question about sexual health, COVID-19, Monkeypox, and flu vaccines, and remind students about the campus’s COVID-19 protocols, to get their vaccines.
